Decentralised Cooperation

A particular feature of Spain is the decentralised cooperation. Regions – such as Andalusia, Basque Country, Catalunya, Galicia, and Madrid - implement cooperation programmes.

Similarly, municipalities dedicate funds to development. Some of the municipal funds are being coordinated by Funds. The Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP), www.femp.es, has lately edited a guide of development cooperation by local entities.
