Domestic Oversight Mechanisms
Oversight bodies, like the development cooperation council and the parliamentary commission play a central role and they have the responsibility to inform and involve the civil society in topics related to Development Aid. How can the efficiency of these mechanisms and the achievement of the latest changes carried out be evaluated? How can new mechanisms that allow these bodies to better fulfill their role be conceived? To what extent can these institutions be efficient mechanisms for a more transparent government?

It is important that there are consultative bodies that allow a larger participation of the civil society in the definition and implementation of development policies, thereby performing a oversight role.
